Application Procedure

Guidelines:

I/ The following documents must be uploaded on the application website (as PDF files)

1/ CV with Identity photo

2/ First pages of Passport or Identity card indicating the nationality

3/ Academic degree and transcripts of all university studies with translation into English, i.e. Bachelor, Master or equivalent. All the documents must be grouped in a single file. If the degree will be obtained after the deadline, a certificate from the institution indicating the situation of the student and the expected date of graduation must be provided

4/ Motivation letter

5/ Recognized International English test Certificate, not older than 3 years: TOEFL (score 220 CBT, 550 PBT, 80 IBT), Cambridge Advanced English Test (score B or higher),  IELTS (score 6.5 or higher), TOEIC (800). No other test is recognized. This document is not required if the language of instruction of your studies is English. The fact must be certified by an official document or letter from the University. In that case, submitting an English Test Certificate is not compulsory but can add value to your application.

NB: the GRE code is provided for students who have GRE results and want to submit them. But neither is the GRE compulsory, nor can it replace the English Test Certificate

6/ Residence certificate (only for applications to EMARO+ Erasmus Mundus scholarship): the place of residence should be verified on the basis of the provision of a document indicating where the candidate live. The precise address of the candidate have to be clearly identify on the document (First name and FAMILY NAME of the candidate, no+street, city, zip code and country).

For e.g:
     - a residence certificate issued in accordance with the candidate's municipality normal registration rules;

or
     - a certificate from the candidate's place of work, study or training issued by the employer or institution in question.
  The document must have been issued within 12 months before the submission deadline (23rd January 2017).

 

II/ Recommendation letters

Recommendation letters from two professors. The recommendation letters should be on university letterhead paper. In the online application, applicants will be asked to list two persons (professors, department heads, tutors, studies directors) who will be asked to send recommendation letters. Recommendations should be requested from professors who are able to comment on the qualifications of the applicant for graduate study.

IMPORTANT : The persons chosen as referees will be informed of the applicant's request for a recommendation letter by e-mail. The Professors will receive an automatic e-mail explaining them the procedure to upload the recommendation letter in the application. This automatic e-mail will be generated ONLY WHEN THE APPLICANT SUBMITS HIS/HER APPLICATION (after the online form is filled, after all required documents are uploaded AND once the application is definitely submitted). Recommendation letters received until 30th of January 2017 will be taken into consideration (only for applications submitted by the indicated deadline : 23rd of January 2017)

 

Please note that only selected students will be asked to send their original documents by post (including the degrees, transcript of records, english test certificate).
