It aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote intercultural understanding through co-operation with third-countries See more on the Erasmus Mundus web site.
EMARO has been successfully implemented over a six-year period (2008-2014) with funding from the Erasmus Mundus Programme, followed by two intakes without funding, for which the European Commission/EACEA maintained the Erasmus Mundus Brand Name.
